At Julian May Opticians, we think you should be able to choose spectacles as individual as you are. No longer are glasses seen as a dull necessity – with the wealth of stylish, modern frames available, anyone can find a pair that they can wear with confidence.

Lindberg

Specialising in bespoke titanium rimless and light weight acetate frames, Lindberg spectacles were first created in Denmark by Poul-Jorn Lindberg in 1979. The Air Titanium rimless have no screws holding the lenses in place and can be customised for each individual wearers needs.

Paul Smith specializes in an inventive use of traditional craftsmanship and

QUESTIONS ABOUT SPECTACLE FRAMES

Every budget is catered for – we have frames from £30 to over £300.

Yes! If there is a specific design you want, we will do our best to order it for you.

We can show you how to care for your glasses to ensure they last. We will also give you a leaflet on what to do (& what not to do!)

Yes. We will fit the frames to your face, making any adjustments necessary & provide aftercare (cleaning, adjustments & servicing) for as long as you own the spectacles.

Don’t panic! We will do our best to sort you out in an emergency. We stock thousands of spectacle screws and we have a wide range of odd spectacles sides and other parts – even if they are not a perfect match they’ll at least keep you going until a proper repair can be made or a suitable alternative sorted out. Usually there is no charge for a temporary repair made to spectacles we initially provided. We also keep a selection of stock single vision lenses on site – call us & we’ll see what we can do.
